Epworth geelong Teaching hospital

Brand new medical facility consisting of an emergency department, medical, surgical and rehabilitation inpatient beds, a range of surgeries, medical consulting suites, rehabilitation facilities, a complex care unit, maternity ward and a clinical education and simulation precinct to enhance the clinical knowledge of nursing, medical and allied health staff and students

Box Hill hospital redevelopment

Stage one was the construction of a new 10-storey building and featured: a larger emergency department, new operating theatres, a new intensive care unit, a dedicated precinct for women’s health services, expanded services for cardiology, cancer and renal patients, and more than 200 additional beds.

Stage two of the redevelopment was the refurbishment to the existing hospital to increase its consulting and support capacity.

The Victorian Comprehensive cancer centre

A facility purpose-built for cancer research, treatment, care and education. The 13-storey complex includes inpatient beds, same-day beds, operating theatres, procedure rooms, radiation therapy bunkers, a clinical trials unit.

Also completed by SGI and linked in the project was a new ICU located via a link bridge on the Royal Melbourne Hospital with four floors of medical gas fit out.


La Trobe institute for molecular sciences

New building consisting of research laboratories, teaching laboratories, research equipment barn, chemical and gas storage facilities.


RMIT micro nano research facility

This state-of-the-art facility brings together diverse and high quality multidisciplinary micro and nano technology research. Consisting of comprehensive facilities for the design, modeling, fabrication, packaging, and characterisation of Micro and Nano scale devices. Notable sections of the project: class 100 ISO5 cleanrooms, class 1,000 ISO7 cleanrooms, physical containment PC2 laboratory, sensor technology laboratory, support laboratories, training area, connection of major tools and new plant and equipment supplies.


The royal women's hospital

The Royal Women's Hospital, together with Frances Perry House, opened on the corner of Grattan Street and Flemington Road in Parkville in 2008. The Women’s provides state-of-the-art facilities for all Victorian women and their newborn babies in a family friendly, environment. It is a stand-alone specialist hospital providing services in areas such as gynaecology, obstetrics, neonatal paediatrics, cancer care, menopause and sexual health treatment


olivia newton john cancer and wellness centre

The centre provides a comprehensive range of cancer services including cancer treatment, education, the latest in scientific research, inpatient accommodation, radiotherapy facilities as well as clinical trial and research facilities. 


Epworth richmond hospital redevelopment (pod4)

A stand-alone facility, linked at various levels back to existing buildings. The new build includes: a new emergency department, intensive care unit, cardiac intensive care unit and cardiac inpatient unit, consulting suites, patient rooms with private ensuites and operating theatres

Adelaide health and medical sciences building

The building features state-of-the art simulation suites and cutting-edge technology to incorporate immersive, skills-based learning. With shared, adaptable learning and social environments, the building promotes flexibility, inter-professional learning and collaboration across medicine, nursing, dentistry and health and medical sciences. Over 12 floors, the building contains 4 floors of laboratories, lecture theatres, advanced simulation suites and a dental hospital.


Swinburne University Advanced Manufacturing and Design Centre (AMDC)

 A state-of-the-art facility that gives researchers and students the opportunity to use the latest manufacturing and design techniques and technologies.


Monash University Green chemical futures

The building is providing opportunities for collaboration and innovation in Australian research and manufacturing.  The Green Chemical Futures supports academic and industrial research within the chemicals and plastics sector in Australia and provides world-class research to expand Australia's 'green workforce'. The lower levels of the building contain teaching and learning spaces and the upper floors house the research and translational facilities.
